Load Balancing
FastServe Network offers load balancing solutions and services based
on client needs. Load balancing involves distribution of processing
and communications activity across a computer network preventing a
single server from becoming overwhelmed. When it becomes difficult to
predict the number of requests that will be issued on a server, load
balancing becomes especially critical.
Typically, a busy website will
utilize a minimum of two webservers in a load balancing scheme so that
when one server becomes extremely busy, requests are forwarded to
another server with more capacity.
